I’ve realized that myself and my fellow TOADS use a lot of medical jargon in our posts. Many of our followers are not in the medical field yet and may not understand these terms, so I’ve started a page on my blog called Medicalese to give explanations of these terms. I will add words and phrases to it as I post, so it will slowly grow, and I will try to remember to link to it on posts that are particularly jargon-ridden. Right now, all of the terms on the list are surgery-related, because I’ve added them for an upcoming post. Anywho, enjoy!
